This model features a gold frame, gray polarized mineral glass lenses and bayonet style temple.
The gray polarized lens is the ultimate tint for extremely bright conditions and glare reduction. Glare is 7-10 times brighter than ambient light, is extremely harsh on your eyes, which can result in fatigue and headaches. Not recommended for use inside aircraft with polarized gauges.
Randolph Engineering is so confident they make a product which will last you a lifetime they include a maintenance kit with each pair of sunglasses. The kit contains an optical screwdriver along with extra screws and an extra set of nose pads.
They also guarantee their solder joints for life, assuming normal use.
Each pair also comes with a hard case and RE lens cloth.
