I carry the 15" model in my truck and have used it on many a backcountry road. It cuts fast, which is great when you forget your 3M Ultrathon at home and the mosquitos are attacking.

It is my tool of choice when it is time to cut the yearly Christmas tree.

I also use it often around home. It works well for pruning fruit trees, limbing up firs and cutting up the occasional deadfall. The swedish steel blade folds into the handle when not in use, protecting you and your gear. In this position it is easy and safe to carry as I move from project to project around the property.
